The Foods 9/10 class has been cooking Pad Thai this week. Their major project inquiry question this semester is, “How can young adults thrive nutritionally while leading busy lives?” Each group picks a dish that they want to prepare for the class while speaking about the nutritional components, specifically any superfood ingredients. Then the whole class cooks the dish the next day and enjoys a feast of healthy delicious food. They also practice dinner table conversation questions such as, “What are you grateful for in your life at this moment?”, “Who inspired you this week and why?” and “What is something that went well for you this week and why do you think it went well?” The class is having a lot of fun and deep conversations.
